Refund Policy

Bookings are non-refundable, except when Washout cancels or our team does not show up.

1. Non-Refundable by Default

All bookings made on Washout are non-refundable. Once payment is confirmed, the amount will not be refunded for customer-initiated cancellations, no-shows, or changes of mind.

2. When You Are Eligible for a Refund

You are entitled to a full refund only in two cases: (a) Washout cancels your booking from our side for any reason, or (b) the Washout team does not show up at your location at all on the scheduled date.

3. If We Are Late

Our team aims to arrive within your selected time slot. Sometimes traffic, weather or unavoidable delays may make us a little late. Being late does not by itself qualify for a refund as long as our team still shows up and performs the service.

4. If You Miss the Slot Because We Are Late

If our team is late and as a result you have to leave before the wash can be performed (e.g. you have to take the car out), we will reschedule your booking to another available slot at no extra charge. No cash refund will be issued in this case.

5. Customer No-Show or Inaccessible Car

If our team reaches your location at the scheduled time but the car is not available, the location is inaccessible, water/electricity access is not provided, or the customer cannot be reached, the booking is treated as completed and no refund will be given. We may, at our discretion, offer rescheduling based on availability.

6. Wrong Address or Wrong Slot

If the booking has incorrect address or slot details and our team cannot complete the service, no refund will be issued. Please double-check details before paying.

7. Service Quality Concerns

Cleaning results depend on the existing condition of the vehicle. Pre-existing scratches, dents, paint damage, stains and interior wear are not Washout's responsibility and are not grounds for refund.

8. How Refunds Are Processed

Eligible refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Razorpay within 5–7 working days of approval. You will receive a confirmation once the refund is initiated.
